There were two outs when HGHhead hit into that double play?

I'm just joking... I know what you mean. But I was saying I would not pitch to him with two outs and a man on... not when Ludwick is struggling.

Drink if you are playing the "I can't freaking believe Brandon Phillips hit into ANOTHER double play" drinking game.

Right now, Dickerson is playing like the guy we saw last September.

Maybe he could have been the OD CF if Dusty had more faith in in him and the Reds could have saved a lot of money and a roster spot.

Phillips hits into his second DP. I hesitate to pick on Brandon too much. He's been VERY good lately. Carpenter's a tough matchup for anybody though when he's throwing well.

He's yet to give up a HR yet this season. Sick. We need to fix that for him...several times.

Phillips is putty in Carpenter's hand. No chance at all. Totally exploits Phillips' desire to be the hero. *Yank*....DP. Sucker.

Phillips was literally jumping out of his shoes with excitement for the opportunity to thrash at a bad ball. No chance whatsoever.

Phillips would be a nightmare in the postseason. His Lil Napoleon approach to hitting going up against titans like Carpenter, Beckett, etc. Deader than a doornail.

Yeah, Phillips is putting up excellent numbers this year and I love him. But if we can't make fun of his "even better than Sean Casey-like" ability to hit into DP's, then what can we laugh at?

Phillips won't see his game go to the next level till he learns to pick his battles. You don't go head to head against Chris Carpenter. You just don't. All you can do is try to see as many pitches as humanly possible against him and pray something bloops in between defenders.

What a play from Hairston. Snicely done.

Voters are really going to hold that against Yaddi daddi, we like to party. I think his Hall of Fame chances just took a serious hit due to that play from Hairston. (Or "Harriston" as Jorge Gran-de likes to say.)
