    Bruce flies out to right.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Ramon K's looking on a 3-2 pitch on the outside corner.

This rookie home plate ump is a JOKE, but only the Cardinals are laughing. Would love to see side-by-side replays of "ball four" to Shumacher and "strike three" to Ramon Hernandez.

Nix gets jammed and flies out to right. No score after 1 1/2.

Ludwick with a hit to right.
Ankiel hits a single through the right side.

    2 on, no out.

Harang seems to be relying on the fastball rather heavily again.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

Boy, Brantley is exactly right. Harang is not using his legs nearly enough and that's why he's struggling.

Brantley might be the worst PBP man in radio history, but he's a good color analyst on TV. He's hitting this nail right on the head. Harang is not pushing off enough.

His control is erratic at best right now.

Harang walks Molina. Bases loaded, no outs. Joe Thurston coming up.

Harang has been a trainwreck so far this inning. Let's hope this is an aberration.

Thurston hit a foul ball that would have cleared the bases if it were fair, and then breaks his back on a popup to short. 1 out, bases still loaded.

Carpenter grounds into a Phillips. Cardinals waste bases loaded with no outs. No score after 2 innings.
