Nice Houdini pulled there by Aaron. But I sure don't like him playing with fire like he was. He needs to settle down and quick-like.

Drink if you are playing the "Alex Gonzalez throws his bat in the stands" drinking game.

I think LaRussa's next bold move should be to bat Pujols ninth. What is his idiotic reasoning again for batting the pitcher eighth?

A-Gon hits it on a line to center where Rasmus gets to it. One out.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Only a catcher (or pitcher) wouldn't have beat that one out.

Hanigan hits a chopper but isn't fast enough to beat it out and gets thrown out by Ryan. 2 outs.

Ryan grounds out...but man, he never gets cheated in his AB's. He really makes pitchers work.

Harang grounds out to third. No score after 2 1/2.
