All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

He is, and so is Dickerson and one of them should be manning CF in the big leagues. I would rather Stubbs continue to get regular at bats in Triple A for a few more weeks while Dickerson mans CF on the parent club. If Dickerson should raise he trade value he should then be shopped and Stubbs callued up with Heisey replacing him in AAA.
We are deep with outfield talent and need to turn that into pitching and addressing the left side of the infield.

A not-so-common ending in the Carolina win over West Tennessee today. Heading into the bottom of the ninth with a two-run lead, Ramon Geronimo loads the bases with one out on a single, a double and an intentional walk. He then walks the next batter as well, cutting the Mudcats' lead in half. The following West Tennessee batsman proceeds to lift a fly ball to left field. Frazier hauls it in and then guns down a runner at the plate. A 7-2 double play preserves the victory. Nice.

Just was looking at the stats. Wood pitched another great game 6 innings 6 K's ERA now 1.38. Ondrusek still hasn't given up a run in Carolina. Manuel was great again in Louisville.

Coddington is now batting .295 at Dayton and Bour is at .283 in Sarasota. Knowing Hernandez contract is up at the end of this year and the Reds probably won't want him at 8+ million next shouldn't they be pushing these kids.

Yeah, Lecure for Zimmerman. That's one of the things Walt "should do." (Only slightly less realistic trades are proposed over on the ORG all the time, mostly involving all kinds of talents and/or prospects to be gotten for Arroyo).

I didn't say it could be a straight up trade.

Zimmerman's the face of the franchise and pretty much untouchable. It'd be the equivalent of the Reds trading Jay Bruce.

I'd take Guzman in a heartbeat.

Guzman for the right price would be a pretty solid target. I dont think the Reds think SS is that big of a problem though.

Well recently, it hasn't been. One of the few spots.

No way you're getting Guzman for Lecure. I assumed GOYA was being ironic in earlier post. As for Zimmerman, Cueto would, IMHO, be the only one on our club that Washington would even be interested in discussing for him.

Guzman is definitely a big ticket item. I was thinking a package of pitching. We can shed some real talent and still have some left over. I'd seriously think about including Roenicke. I think Manuel and Viola will top out above him.

    But NOT Cueto.

Guzman's $8 mil salary is not too bad either.
