    Gomes walks but doesn't realize it and doesn't run to first. Probably the shock of a Reds player getting on base.

    Bruce gets ahead 2-0...then nearly bounces into a DP.

    Reds just not getting any good swings tonight.

    This Royals pitcher hasn't been in the strike zone too much. Reds getting themselves out swinging at bad pitches. Gonzo swung at a bunch of them. Bruce was too impatient in his at bat.
