    Hi guys-
I am going to see Team USA next weekend, and have got some great info from this board over the last few years of players to keep an eye out for. They havent released the final roster yet, but wanted to see if you guys have thoughts on the players expected to make it and play?

    Re: USA National team

Hey Dave-yeah, I have that already, I was wondering if any of you had opinions on any of these guys, have you seen them, know anything about them, is the next "one" potentially on this squad? I go every year, but often dont know much about these guys going into the games, like to know who to keep an eye out for.

    Re: USA National team

Gerrit Cole was the Yankees first round draft pick last year but he didn't sign because he felt he should have gone higher. Big arm from him.

Hunter Morris, Jedd Gyorko, Rick Hague, Bryce Brentz, and Drew Pomeranz are other guys to watch. Morris and Cole are the two biggest guys to watch though. Cole is the only guy not eligible for next years draft that I listed.

    Re: USA National team

Thanks Doug, I think Morris was on the team last year, if I am thinking right. Also curious to look, but for some reason its in my head he is Jim Morris' kid, but maybe I am just crazy and told myself that one....which is very likely, the crazy part at least.

    Re: USA National team

Anthony Rendon just had surgery on the ankle he injured in the Super Regional. He won't be there. Ligament damage. I hope he recovers. He's a fun player to watch.
