It is quite a good day. I am not surprised that we are going to break the Cueto in AAA record as we finally have several very interesting pitching prospects working their way through the system. It seems as if we have solid prospects pitching every single day however and we may see this record broken many times over the next few years.

Every pitchers' should have different cutoff points IMO...this 100 pitch crud just bothers me...probably more than it should, but there it is regardless.
There is a lot of evidence out there to suggest that your injury potential is doubled if not tripled when you consistently pitch over 100 pitches, particularly when you're under 24 years old.

Might not be that easy, today's kind of the perfect storm, its middle of the week, so people can post from work, schools out, so students can post from home, we have 2 minor league organizations going this afternoon, both over lunch break where more people are comfortable or able to posts real quick, while having a top prospect (or how everyou want to label Homer) pitch a gem after 3 straight gems. Then you've got 2 well followed prospects on the bump tonight, while the weather outside may be less than ideal (meaning more people inside and around a computer)

May be hard to beat the record that seems inevitable tonight, though it will certainly fall at some point. Today's got a lot working for it, really all its missing is having Leake on the bump for ASU pitching a solid game in the college world series on ESPN for all to see.

That, and the fact that the major league team is rather uninteresting right now.

BTW, Camillo didn't get promoted as much as he's replaced Mallett as being the non-prospect "fill in where ever needed guy".

Not so sure about this. Report used to be that he threw about 95. If that's still true, he'll neve cease being a prospect; lefthanders who throw that hard never do.

Homer is on one helluva streak right now. It's really enjoyable 'watching' him pitch from following these threads. Thanks for the updates and it's really exciting about Homer the last, oh, month or so.

Also, how about that start by Klinker:

    Klinker: 5.2 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 7 K

I assume it's due to pitch count limitations, but that's a pretty doggone sexy line right there!

Would it be wrong to suggest this is the best couple months of Homer's career so far?

I actually just posted in the wrong thread. That's all. Glad to help break the record though!
