I obviously meant Dorn but still it was Danny Dorn with the double.

Bolivar then singled after a McDonald K scoring Dorn on a close play at home but they do say he did get in.

Castillo left last nights game with "eye irritation" from getting dirt in it

    FYI.

Klinker must have been on a strict pitch count as he was pulled with 2 outs in the top of the 6th with a man on second. Sarasota was leading 3-0 at the time. Final line for Klinker:

I guess the old baseball adage "Just rub some dirt on it and suck it up" wouldn't necessarily apply here.

Bailey with a quick top of the third. One fly ball and two ground outs and we are on to the bottom of the third. A caught stealing couple with a double play ball results in Homer facing the minimum through three.

Only the most incredible play you'll ever see on a ground ball. It was simply amazing and I now firmly belive I can die a happy man. Sorry you missed it.

Homer just seems like a completely different pitcher after dumping the changeup in favor of his new splitter. Can't wait for his next callup.

More importantly only 44 pitches for Homer through 4. He used to get that at GABP in about 2 innings. His ERA for the year is now at 2.98. After his first couple of starts who would have thought that?
