    Same here. About 20% of my state, with a bullseye on the part that I live in, is in the government's worst category of drought classifications. My lawn crunches like breakfast cereal and is close to the same color.

    I'm hoping all the rain we've been getting this summer has a positive effect on the field conditions in our softball league. Typically, by the time August rolls around the fields are so barren and dry that it's like playing on concrete. Hopefully all the rain we've had this summer prevents that from happening this year and helps keep the fields in solid shape throughout the fall seasons.

    heh. try playing on caliche in 100+ degree weather.
