Well when I went out to lunch an hour ago it was about 74 with a light breeze off the ocean. From my desk here I'm looking past a palm tree at a perfectly blue sky, I would say it hasn't changed much. I'm sure the good people of San Diego have a similar report. Now back to the rain stories...

Same here. About 20% of my state, with a bullseye on the part that I live in, is in the government's worst category of drought classifications. My lawn crunches like breakfast cereal and is close to the same color.

Since we're on the topic, it annoys me when people complain about the weather being "too hot" or "too cold" or "too rainy." It's always going to be "too something" for most people it seems.

Personally, I'll take wet and cool over drought and godawful heat any day.

I'm hoping all the rain we've been getting this summer has a positive effect on the field conditions in our softball league. Typically, by the time August rolls around the fields are so barren and dry that it's like playing on concrete. Hopefully all the rain we've had this summer prevents that from happening this year and helps keep the fields in solid shape throughout the fall seasons.
