Hairston fouls out. 1 hit through 4 innings against a rookie that can't find the strike zone.

Seems to be finding it just fine so far.

Huh, stepped away for 3 minutes and the inning is over? How many pitches.

63 pitches, 35 strikes. 55%. And those strikes are including pitches swung at by the Reds outside the zone. And he'd walked 8 in 13 IP in his other two starts. So no, he's not really finding it so far.

If those account for a great percentage, Hanson would be making a mistake by throwing more than 55% of his pitches in the strike zone.
