Gonzo strikes out. 1 and 2 hitters 0 for 8 today and 0 for 16 the last two nights.

    For those keeping score,

    Willy flew out
    Dickerson stole second
    Gonzalez Ks

I fully expect an article put out by Baseball Prospectus or some other highly regarded baseball think tank proving a Willy T and Gonzo combo is the worst 1-2 combo in the history of the game.

Then, once written, no Cincinnati Sports Writer will confront Dusty about it.

Does Moylan throw sidearm? Groundout ends the inning.

I will be tweeting at every red outlet I can to demand that Dusty change the top of his lineup.

Roenicke in to pitch. Janish comes in to play SS as part of the double-switch.

Surely someone else is better--even on a team of baseball midgets. Everyone wanted pitching and defense, but somebody forgot the other part of the game (wonder who?).

What is discouraging is that Walt said the other day that he was pleased with how the team was playing--them fighting in every game. Kind of like bringing a knife to a gunfight .

The only way Dusty will change it is if he starts feeling the pressure from those around him.
