    He will qualify for a fourth option year since he will have less than five years as a professional. It's somewhat of an obscure rule.

    Does the trade of Zach Stewart make the Mike Leake signing even more of a priority?

    Leake would probably become our top pitching prospect and the closest to the majors. Seems like with Stewart gone, we really need him.

    Signing your top draft pick is always a priority. So the answer is: YES.
    The Sox traded Bullfrog the only player they've got for Shottenhoffen. Four-eyes Shottenhoffen a utility infielder. They've got a whole team of utility infielders.

    Turns out the day Leake and Alonso were injured was a heavenly day compared to the disastrous day that saw Roenicke and Stewart leave the organization.
