    6/19/09 Reds vs Pale Hose

    Phillips 4
    Nix 7
    Hernandez 3

    Gonzalez 6
    Hanigan 2
    Arroyo 1

    Willy Taveras gets the night off. He is hitting .085 in his last 23g (8-94), dropping BA from .322 to .219. He is 2-for-51 in his last 13g. Recorded his last walk 5/23 v Clev (15g).

    FYI for those reading later, Alex Gonzalez was a late scratch, and Paul Janish is starting at SS and batting 8th. Ryan Hanigan moves up to 7th in the order.

    Very light game thread. I guess with Taveras out there's nothing to say.

    Reds down by two, Hairston up in the fourth, let's get that big offense going.

    One out. Chisox shortstop Ramirez can move out there. Gets Hairston on a nice play on slow grounder.

    Two outs. Nix doubles. The tension is unbearable. Can Hernandez knock him in? Yes, double to right. 2-1 Chisox.
