Any good places to eat around the ballpark?

I'm going to the Civil Rights Game tomorrow with my Father, making a day of hanging out with dad, I'm looking for a good place to eat (bar atmosphere) some place I can wear short and a t-shirt have a beer that also has good food. Any suggestions for places around GABP? Thanks in advance.

Gameday Sports Cafe is right next door. It provides the bar atmosphere, but I can't say too much for the food.

If you don't mind the walk (You can take a cab) Newport On the Levee is great. There is a Hooters over there, along with a lot of great restraunts. There is a good Mexican place called Habanero, and a Johnny Rockets.
If you can't build a winning team with that core a fire-sale isn't the solution. Selling the franchise, moving them to Nashville and converting GABP into a used car lot is.

Rock Bottom is right there at Fountain Square. Good food and micro brewery.
