I hope he brings it! Hopefully Cleveland isn't his version of Bronsons Toronto, and he keeps getting sent down after facing them, lol jk.
Well, let's hope we all finally get to see the Homer Bailey we always hoped to see.

TORONTO -- The Reds made it official on Thursday that Saturday's starter vs. the Indians will be Homer Bailey, who will be recalled again from Triple-A Louisville.
Based on the timing and his recent performances, it really couldn't have been anyone else.
Not only was Bailey's next turn for Louisville to be Saturday, he's been its hottest starter. The 23-year-old is 4-0 with a 0.47 ERA in his last five starts, with three of them lasting at least eight innings.
Over his last 38 1/3 innings, Bailey has allowed just one run with seven walks and 38 strikeouts.
In 14 starts overall for Louisville, Bailey is 8-5 with a 2.71 ERA. The right-hander struggled during his previous one-start callup on May 23, also vs. the Indians, when he gave up six earned runs on three hits with a career-high six walks over 4 1/3 innings in a 7-6 loss.
Bailey is taking the spot that belongs to Edinson Volquez, who has been on the disabled list since June 2 with right elbow tendinitis. Left-hander Matt Maloney most recently occupied the spot but was 0-2 with a 6.11 ERA in three starts for the Reds. Maloney was sent back to Louisville last Saturday when the Reds didn't need a fifth starter.
At one time the brightest of Reds prospects, Bailey has yet to find any traction in the Majors. Over his five previous callups, he is 4-8 with a 7.01 ERA in 18 starts for Cincinnati.
With Volquez expected to be out through the All-Star break, this could be a great chance for Bailey to establish himself.
A corresponding move to make room for Bailey on the 25-man roster will be announced before Saturday's game.
Im not going to lie I am REALLY excited to see what Homer can do over an extended period of time at the Major League Level!!
Homer is imo about to get the most important start of his career at the Major League level. Its not just big for him but the Reds as well. This time around we are still in it and in need of someone to fill in for a somewhat extended period. When that time is up we'll be right around the trade deadline and anything is possible to happen at that point.I believe how Bailey does will have a huge impact on what kind of decisions are made at the deadline.
I have a feeling that he gets the job done and sticks this time around.
Lets hope that new pitch is going to help him stick this time.
Cleveland crushed him last time
So all the more impressive if he comes out and has a nice start.
Homer is very important to the future of this team, in both the short and long terms. If he can come up and be a league average pitcher, then the Reds can go ahead and move Arroyo without any serious concern. If he can be above average than I think the Reds would be able to move Harang this year.
A future starting rotation of:
Cueto
Volquez
Bailey
Stewart
Owings/Maloney
Would probably be pretty competitive if Baliey could figure it out and be an above average major league pitcher.
How long will they keep him up? Late July when EV gets back? What do you do with him if he's pitching well? Keep him in and pull Micah?
11 post and no one has said we should DFA him yet? Must be a record.
I hope he does better this time around and makes a case to stick with the big club even after EV comes off the DL.

Its about time for him to translate his skills to the MLB level. If he doesn't produce this time, I'm not sure he ever will.
