So was there anything worth seeing at the pregame? The Sox feed only briefly showed Marty's introduction of Hank, Ali and Sugar Ray.

Fantastic coverage. What a tremendous atmosphere at the GABP.

BeBe Winans did a resounding version of the National Anthem
Great flag presentation and flyover by the Air Force
Frank Robinson 1st pitch short hops home....Doggy Perez w/ a great scoop.

The Reds players were really into it as well......perhaps a small taste of a World Series game for these young guys

A Johnny Cueto 1 hitter would be a great way to top it off.

I really like that Cincinnati is being showcased for this instead of past tensions (not to reopen them at all). It's a great night for Cincinnati and the Reds.

    And they're off.

Cueto goes 3-0 on Podsednik....then battles back to get him to fly out to center.

Unis look great...but again...no one can talk to these guys to wear the socks correctly?

I forgot CHI had that color during that year.

I wonder if the sleeveless jerseys feel weird if you're not used to it.

MLBtv did a great job covering the pregame festivities. Really had a post game feel to it.

    Holy.

Willy Taveras singled hard up the middle. Did I see that correctly?
