    I would have played Janish at SS and used the DH for his position.

    Owings would hit for himself, and then we could have used a PH for the pitcher's spot as required.

    You are correct. I was getting mixed up in other (ameteur) leagues where the DH can be (and often is) used for other positions.

    Marty Brennaman is out of the broadcasting booth again tonight. He has been missing A LOT during this first half.

    I wonder if the quantity of days off is scheduled before the season begins or if Marty might be having some kind of issue with his health.
