Yeah, it's Dusty's managing, not a stiff correction to a performing-over-their-heads pitching staff.

98% of managers do too. And they're right to go with the overall odds because splits from season to season are fairly unreliable unless a huge pattern has been established.

Nice pitch by Burton to k Barajas.

With Masset scuffling, it would be a good thing to have Jared step up.

Burton K's Barajas. Bully made it harder on the offense. They responded to 6-0; let's see if they respond to 7-4.

I agree; hence the explanation of Dusty's rationale.

However, I would have preferred Rhodes to get the K they needed.

Hairston walks. Blue Jays bullpen seems determined to give up some runs.

Jerry steals second. We all wonder why, but he is safe regardless.

Votto hits it hard right to a shifting Scutaro behind the bag. Hairston to 3rd. The steal looks smart now.

In Detroit, Ryan Raburn hits a two run dinger in the bottom of 9 to beat the Cubbies.

Phillips swings at the first pitch. Grounds to a backhanding Overbay who tosses to League. Run Scores. 7-5
