    Howard returns to Reds' lineup

Howard returns to Reds' lineup after flu bout

According to MLB.com's Todd Zolecki, Ryan Howard is batting at his usual fourth spot in the lineup Tuesday and playing first base.

The big man is back. Howard was plagued by a bad case of acute sinusitis over the weekend and missed a couple consecutive games. He's batting .257 with 20 home runs, 50 RBI and 43 runs scored in 265 at-bats this season. Jun. 23 - 4:11 pm et
Obviously a typo by Rotoworld, but one can dream can't they?

You mean you didn't hear the news yet? Taveras was traded straight up for Ryan Howard earlier this morning. Quite the deal Walt worked out. The Phillies even threw in a brand new box of balls too.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

Actually part of that is correct because Ryan Howard was out of the lineup over the weekend. I wonder if they meant to put the Phillies in there instead of the Reds?
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Nah...strikes out too much and has shaky defense.

I simply don't have access to a "cares about RBI" place in my psyche. There is a "mildly curious about OBI%" alcove just before the acid filled lake guarded by robot snipers with lasers which leads to the "cares about RBI" antechamber though. - Nate

Maybe he's the answer to our CF problem?

Ya know, with Joey Votto AND Ryan Howard at first base, I still can't believe the Reds drafted Yonder Alonso last year.

I don't know if I see Ryan Howard being such a good fit in the clubhouse.
