    Wednesday 6/24/09 minor league updates

    Louisville - 7:15 - RHP Justin Lehr

    Carolina - 7:15 - RHP Zach Stewart

    Sarasota - 7:05 - RHP Scott Carroll

    Dayton is off for their All-Star break. Last night in the Midwest League All-Star game, Dragons catcher Kevin Coddington went 0-for-2 while LHP Matt Fairel threw a 1-2-3 inning. The second half of the season begins tomorrow.

    Billings - 9:05 - LHP Shea Snowden

    The GCL Reds played at 12:00 while the DSL Reds played at 10:30. No boxscores yet.

    GCL Reds lost 6-5 but Tyler Cline pitched well over five innings and Billy Hamilton got two more hits and 3 steals.

    I honestly can't believe that Hamilton is playing this quickly. I had him tabbed as a guy that may not sign.

    It sounded from day one like he was very interested in signing. What made you think he wouldn't sign?

    Stewart gave up two runs in the first but Frazier picks him up with a three run jack.
