Sadly, that was the case in February too.

I simply don't have access to a "cares about RBI" place in my psyche. There is a "mildly curious about OBI%" alcove just before the acid filled lake guarded by robot snipers with lasers which leads to the "cares about RBI" antechamber though. - Nate

No guts. Reds are used to this anyway. It doesn't bother them so much to lose .

    J/K of course.

I was thinking the same thing, especially after last year.

Any scouts watching Arroyo tonight likely left after 11 pitches.

Hey, the good news is we hung in the race longer than the last two years!

    Oh, no good? Sorry.

McClouth just made two nasty plays in center. Boy he sure would have been a decent pickup.

Hasn't Hanigan been Arroyo's personal catcher this year?

But the Reds need some modicum of offense, as well. So Hairston (as pedestrian as he is) has to start somewhere on the left side of the infield for now. The Reds can use Rosales as a late-inning defensive replacement at 3B.

Actually, I think there will be plenty of opportunities for all four of them to get some playing time (though JHJ will likely get the most PT).

Gomes tried to hit a 5 run homer.
