I've heard the name but don't remember him at all. The article said he was on Carson's Tonight Show regularly but I don't remember him at all on it. Sounded as though he was mainly a big Vegas act.

In the 70's he was always like #2 impressionist behind Rich Little.

I remember him on The Tonight Show and I think he was on game shows fairly often - Hollywood Squares, etc.

I remember him. That's a pretty accurate statement.

Anything for Money was the show he hosted.

He was a great impressionist. RIP.

Glad I'm not a celeb right now.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

    That captures it.

Daytime talk shows like Dinah Shore and Mike Douglas and celebrity game shows like Hollywood Squares, Match Game, the Gong Show and Liar's Club created a sub-class of c-list celebrities in the 70's: Paul Lynn, Bret Sommers, Charles Nelson Reilly, Norm Crosby, Charlie Callas, Mel Tillis, JP Morgan, etc....

I remember him well, but if we're going to keep this superstition going, don't you think we need some kind of ranking, such as value above replacement celebrity?

The really scary part is, that with the combination of the "six degrees of separation" principle and the "they always seem to go in threes" paradigm, I expect us all to be gone by the middle of next week.
