Quick first inning for Bronson. Nicely done. "In the middle of one, the D'Backs have nothing and the Reds are coming to bat."

That was a lovely backhand by Janish and a gun to get him.

Hopefully this is one of Bronson's "on" nights. So far, so good.

Seriously, when was the last time Bronson had a scoreless first inning? Seriously.

~just checked. Okay, it just SEEMS like he allows runs in the first. 2 of the last 4 he's had a scoreless 1st. (make that 3 of 5 now).

BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE guns 'em down with ease.

Arroyo retires the first two batters, walks the next too. I don't recall the line-up (fill in the blanks for me please). The next player singles and Jay Bruce throws the runner out trying to score.

Why do they keep challenging Bruce's arm? You'd think they would know better by now, LOL

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Actually, not a bad idea there. Pitcher was up next. Might as well give it a shot.
