I think the axiom is that a place will be made at a position that the player has experience. It doesn't always have to mean that the guy will have to learn a new position, although it may evolve into that. However, as a prime example, Albert Pujols butchered 3B and LF before they found a home for him at 1b, and even has become an above average first baseman in the process. Very few guys with plus bats will be such a liability in the field that they are not worth the bother. That's what the 4 corners of the field are for.
BTW, I am in no way comparing Frazier and Pujols as offensive comps, simply addressing the broad category of "plus bat with questions on position"
