    Wimbledon

I'm off today, and I can't wait for the Rodick v. Murray match. I'd really like to see Rodick to win, but I think that Murray v. Federer would make a better final.

I'm afraid Roddick blew his chance when he had two break points at 7-7. But than again, has Federer even had a break point yet this set?

Funny exchange in the post match interviews, Federer said to Roddick, "Don't be too hard on yourself, I was in your shoes last year, losing 9-7." Roddick shouts back(good naturedly) "Yeah but you already had 5"

God dang, I got in at 12:30 and turned the TV -- I couldn't believe it was still going on. I am no tennis aficionado, but that was one of the most amazing sporting events I've ever seen.

As a former tennis player, that match...well, that match reminded me of just why I'm a former tennis player! Spectacular stuff.

I guess I was wrong about Murray/Fed being a better match. Man, I really wanted Roddick to get that one. The last two matches are the best I've ever seen him play, obviously. I hope he continues. Maybe he can get another US Open title.

I'd gradually lost interest in tennis over the years. Used to play a lot and watch on TV. I tell you, that match yesterday was amazing and had me ready to grab the old racket (if I could just find it) and head out to the court.
