Should be a fun night, I'm jealous of anybody who is able to attend. Get a W.Fans please note: The Reds-Cardinals game tonight (7:10 p.m.) is sold out, the Reds announced a short time ago. It's another Fireworks Friday
The 4th weekend, evil empire in town, fireworks. If they don't sell that out, nothing's going to bring 'em in.
Me and the kids got great seats for tommorrow's game.
"panic" only comes from having real expectations
Drove up from Memphis with the boy (he's almost 8) for tonite's game and tomorrow's. Just checked into the hotel downtown. Already throngs of people. Really looking forward to it. Hope Homer relaxes and finds his center. Should be a fun night.
You realize that a sell out is the kiss of death, don't you:
Good to hear. I was thinking about driving down and checking on walkup tickets, but I'm not disappointed to see an early sellout. Now I'll just head to a local watering hole, drink a few beers and hope to see a W.
Kevin Gregg and Jason Marquis will bring back memories of the Lost Decade.
Pujols hit one almost up onto the riverboat in cf in bp, hit off the facing just a smidge below the yellow rail. Had to be 475 feet, easy. Keep it low, homer...
I'm going to try and get there by the 4th inning. Eating all you can eat ribs at MOntgomery right now. Don't have tix except for tomorrows game though. Anyone know if there are any standing room tix left.
Tim McCarver: Baseball Quotes
I remember one time going out to the mound to talk with Bob Gibson. He told me to get back behind the batter, that the only thing I knew about pitching was that it was hard to hit.
That's great that there will be a huge crowd there (it would be nice if the majority are Reds fans, LOL ) and hopefully the Reds can get a win. Go Reds!!
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
Paul: sro was going fast about an hour before first pitch.
Reds continue to abuse large crowds at GABP
It seems that when the Reds get close in the standings and have a big home weekend series (with the fans coming out) they feel the pressure....
And choke. cough....cough. Every time.
