Thanks for the PBP Membengal. This helped me catch up on how the game was going.

Old school, there. That was the first R-rated movie I ever beheld, thanks to the magic of cable coming to my little east of Columbus burg in 1982. The next morning on the bus, there was much excited chatter about that particular movie, the 8:00 HBO Sunday night movie. For 7th graders, it was heady stuff.

No problem. I am hoping this constitutes some sort of public service.

Force play 3rd to second gets runner for one out, runner on at first.

    Ankiel up.

Galaxy Quest was a pretty good movie, too.

Now Galaxy Quest, that was a fine film. One of the funniest you can run across, particularly if you have some working knowledge of the source material.

Wild pitch moves runners to second and third.

Fisher trying to pitch himself back to AAA.

Grounder to 2b for the out, runner scores.

That makes it 9-1, and the quest will now not be for nine runs total, but nine runs in the 9th. Quest!

    Two down.

Uh oh, single by Thurston makes it 10-1.

That means the comeback quest has changed to quest for 10-run comeback. No biggie, the Reds like challenges.

Vision Quest was OK too if you like high school wrestling.

Technically, this game was over about the half second after Rasmus' ball settled into the RF stands back in the first.

The evil Hoffpauer doubles to LF, runners at second and third.

Fisher would be well advised to get a third out, because there ain't no one to come get him.

The wall is not where Chris Dickerson plays his best defense.

Johnny Quest has 'em all beat.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Grounder to the mound ends this version of the carosuel.

10-1 StL heading to bottom of the 9th.

Quest for a 10-run comeback is here. It's now or never, fellas. And, when it comes to pass? It will partially make up for the mother's day massacre. Make it so.

This quest seems to be a case of advancing in another direction.
