Nope. Thom and Chris on TV.

Molina singles to LF and Pujols scores.

    3-0 St. Louis.

Reds' prospects looking dimmer and dimmer given the mound opponent.

This was always the worry after they let Friday night slip away. The pitching match-up today is anthrax...

    Thurston up.

Everything's up in the zone. Odds getting longer by the pitch.

Thurston grounds out on what sounds like a nice play by Phillips.

Carpenter up, two outs, two on at second and third.

    Carpenter singles to CF.

    Arroyo is less than satisfactory.

    4-0 Cardinals, runners at 1st and 3rd.

Carpenter entered that at-bat hitting .118. Gracious.

Terrible. Game over. No matter the offense, this game was over before a single pitch was thrown.

What do you think it would take to trade for Doug Davis, maybe they can DL Bronson. Something isn't right.

Arroyo can't even get pitchers out.

Arroyo not really giving the team a chance nowadays. Add on the celestial practical joke of having him draw both Haren and Carpenter this week, and it is bordering on unfair.

A GM who could see past the obvious offensive depth of this franchise and get another necessary rotation anchor.

Arroyo is making things hard for the Reds to win. 4 runs (though it's probably enough already) in 4 innings is simply not getting it done.. Unfortunately, the offense is so poor, no pitcher can give up more than 2 in order to give the Reds a chance to win and against Carpenter, you can't allow any. Mission Impossilble.
