I was at the game yesterday, and just turned off the TV.

This team will suck all the joy of life right out of you!

We pretend, we hope, we dream...just like children do. Then adulthood comes and smacks us with a large dose of reality in the form of teams who know how to win and what it takes to compete. Only then do we remember we are not a team to be reckoned with, but a team who has a long way to go.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Cincinnati Bengals - None
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

On the heels of yesterday, this one is particularly gut wrenching.

Someone on the Reds broadcast team needs to wisecrack that they'll walk back to Cincy if the Reds pull this one out....

This team needs to be sellers.

Honestly, I would rather see Heisey, Stubbs, Frazier and company this season than another day of Taveres, Hairston, EdE, and Arroyo.
    Stop! Heisey time!

I'm not joking when I say this: this is probably a blessing in disguise. (Though it's only a blessing if they understand that it's white flag time.)
