How many people actually follow female athletics? I'm not a huge fan of female athletes besides the Williams sisters in tennis and a few basketball players such as Lisa Leslie.

Nope. None at all. I just don't find it interesting...
I don't necessarily follow them but I do watch basketball, softball and volleyball. Tennis as well.
Olympic Beach Volleyball But other than that,no.
Reds Fan Since 1971
I will watch if there is some sort of sex appeal, think women's volleyball.
My issues with women's sports is the actual talent level. I have a hard time watching anything in which the talent level just isn't there. IMO it has nothing to do with the acutal players or the sport, it has more to do with the physical differences between men and women.
I don't watch women's sports, I don't like watching women's sports, and I hate the fact that you're immediately labeled as a chauvinist by some when you have the audacity to say you find women's sports boring.
The one exception is the Olympics -- where I'll watch (and sometimes prefer) women's events to men's events.
Cincinnati Reds: Farm System Champions 2022
I prefer women's tennis to men's generally. That's the extent of that list.
I generally enjoy the Women's NCAA Basketball Tournament, but it's WAY behind the men's version in terms of enjoyment.
I don't watch women's sports on TV very often (the Olympics being the major exception to the rule). Yet I'm fine with catching it live. I've taken the family to some women's pro soccer games in Boston. The venue (Harvard Stadium), the way the event is run (concessions, merchandising, event staff) and the skill level on the field are all top notch. We usually go to see the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships every winter (held in Boston) and the women's events are perfectly entertaining sports fare. I also like to take my daughter to see some college women's hockey, basketball or soccer every now and then, just to show her that's something she could pursue (she's a good athlete).
I'm not a system player. I am a system.
Women's golf and tennis, but I'm not hard core about it or anything.
Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
I watched the Reds lose 22-1 to the Phillies last night, does that count?
