    Injured Pitchers

Sorry to keep bringing this up, but has there been any word on the status of Dallas Buck or Daryl Thompson since their recent re-injuries? Are they done for the year? (If so, they may be done for more than that- especially in Thompson's case...)

Also, does anybody know the status/expected return of currently DL'ed pitchers Bill Bray or James Avery?

Finally, are Lotzkar, Hildenbrandt, Guillon and the other guys that are done for the year expected back by ST? Are they expected back at all?

    Thanks.
    Go BLUE!!!

    Re: Injured Pitchers

Bray is done for the year; he had Tommy John surgery. As for the others, I'm guessing Cincinnati is taking the cautious approach. Extremely cautious. Lotzkar and Hildenbrandt are both young for their level, so they can afford a year of rehab, if necessary.

Most minor league pitching injuries take a long time to be diagnosed and especially reported. Just not something clubs often publicize until well after the kid's been checked out.

Last I heard about Thompson was that he was headed to Cincy to let Dr. Kremchek take a look at him.
