This post-Tommy John surgery Rodrigo Lopez has decent movement back on his pitches. He used to be decent with Baltimore. Might be a decent mid-season pick-up for my fantasy team. Decent. Because I can. Decently.

96 mph at the knees on the corner to start the at-bat against Werth. Tough pitch.

First righty Homer has seen after four straight lefties to start the game.

Six up six down for Homer

Homer gets Lou Dobbs Tonight to ground out. Looking good through two, but all the George and Chris "He's great now!" talk worries me. Let's take it a bit slower guys.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

    EE singles to LF.

And, Tom Servo, Homer's at the least markedly better than Arroyo...

This is true, I just don't like getting my hopes up early. I need more than 1 start to be able to buy into George and Chris' praise.

Dickerson Ks looking. 4 Ks for Lopez, who is owing the inner half of the plate on the Reds.

    0-0 middle of 3.

Go ahead and get your hopes up. Even when he has down starts, which he will at his age, we can all see now that his stuff is legit. That is reaaaalllll easy gas he is throwing, and as he continues to have command, the Reds really have something here. I look forward to watching him pitch, even with his inevitably growing pains.
