Alonso at 15 is nice, but I'm quite surprised at the omission of Zach Stewart, especially in "The Next 25" although this appears in the comments section:

How come Zach Stewart shows up in the subscriber version but not in this list?

Nice catch. The subscriber story was posted to the RSS feed a little too early as the last minute touches were being put onto the next 25. Stewart was on an earlier version of the next 25, but was just edged out in the final version that’s also going into the magazine.

Stewart is definitely better than a few of the names on this list IMO. Of course, he'll never get full respect from BA because he wasn't a first round pick.

    Did I miss something?

The Baseball Cube says Tim Beckham is in the Cincinnati REDS organization.

    That would be nice.
