CD grounds out pretty uneventfully to "Sir Albert" for the first out. 1 down.

Votto grounds pretty sharply down the 1B line, but Howard was stationed right on the line and it's an easy 3-1 ground out. Good positioning by Howard there. Else that's an easy double.

    2 outs.

BP lifts the first pitch down near the RF corner, but Werth is there and makes the grab. That's it for the Reds in the 3rd.

Rollins takes the 2-1 pitch and grounds out to Votto, unassisted. 1 out.

Ok Willy T is an idiot. There simply is no excuse nor any reason to do what he just did.

That outfield wall is like a miniature golf windmill.

Can George possibly get any more excited than that? Albert is going to get upset at all the affection that George is showing Victorino and Utley.

    Re: 7/9/09 Reds vs Phils

Utley takes a pitch and drills it off the wall in LCF...about 15+ feet up and Willy T decides to run all the way to the wall, I guess expecting it to hit the wall and fall straight down?!?!

Instead, it, as physics dictates, bounces off the wall and Utley easily w/ an Inside the park HR.

Then Howard torches one into RCF for a double.

There is just no excuse for the idiot positioning by WillyT. You have to know it's going to bounce off the wall, so wtf do you run right up to the wall, time after time? Not the first times he's done it. Just use common sense!

Coming over to back up the CF like he should, but the ball took a funky bounce off the wall, and bounced directly to RF where Chris would have been if he hadn't done what he was supposed to do.
