Yes it took a screwy bounce, but Willy has to realize that running all the way to the wall is not the way to play the field. He has to stand a handful of paces away from the wall and play the bounce. I mean, they teach this stuff. I just don't understand his lack of using his head.

    Just dumb.

I just asked that in chat as well. His genuine excitement over the other team's achievements on a regular basis is beyond annoying. It has crossed over to insulting.

The Reds have been on the receiving end of a few rare baseball events this season!

    Dobbs flies out to CF.

    Thru 3, 3-2 Reds.

And George Grande needs to go away. Badly.

I absolutely agree. I have been far more patient than most, but I have seen enough of Willy Taveras in CF. he has been a disappointment both offensively and defensively.

    Looks like he was out.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

That's what Brantley is saying, that Ruiz was out. But he's on first.

Moyer bunted the runner to second. Rollins singled, Ruiz held at third. Utley up.

Moyer sacrifices. Runner on 2nd, 2 outs.

Then Rollins with a shot hard on a line to RF, but Ruiz wisely holds at 3b. Men at the corners, 2 outs.
