Owings yelling at Phillips during play...should've been caught, but that thing was smoked, pipe down Owings and quit putting guys on base.

Now that bad call at 1st is big.

Ruled a hit, not an error on BP.

It's hard to overcome a combination of bad calls and bad defense. You can't give them 5 outs.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Grounded right back to Owings and it's a 1-3 ground out. Owings is PISSED.

    Thru 4, Reds 4, Umps/Phillies 4.

Willy T pops up, for the 3rd time today, in 3 attempts, this time, shorter than them all, about 95' to 2B. 1 out.

Between WillyT's inability to use common sense and George Grande, I might reach my breaking point today.

We'll back up. Dickerson went down to first, but it was just ball 3 - he subsequently singled. Votto at the plate, as Moyer has thrown over to 1st three times.

Dickerson takes off afterall and easily steals second, with Votto swinging and missing for a K. Phillips up.
