    My brain hurts. Talking about Dickerson and Taveras "Neither one of them is tearing the world apart with their OBP.... but when Dickerson gets on with a hit he isn't the stolen base threat that Willy Taveras is" - Reds broadcasters about two players with these OBP's .286 and .369..... Yeah, those two are in the same stratosphere in terms of getting on base.

    How many dingers will Arroyo surrender to Cora tonight?

    Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug....Dickerson was just beat on steal attempt.

    Arroyo is in a good environment and going against a depleted lineup....maybe he'll get healthy.

    Votto homers! 1-0 Reds.
    “I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

    Hey..

    I'm not a lumberjack, or a furtrader,
    and I don't live in an igloo, eat blubber, or own a dogsled,
    and I don't know Jimmy, Sally, or Susie from Canada,
    although I'm sure they're really really nice.

    I have a Prime Minister, not a President.
    I speak English and French, not American,
    and I pronounce it about, not aboot
    I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack;
    I believe in peacekeeping, not policing;
    and that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal

    a tuque is a hat,
    a chesterfield is a couch,
    and it is pronounced zed, not zee, zed!

    Canada is the second largest land-mass,
    the first nation of hockey,
    and the best part of North America!

    MY NAME IS JOE(y Votto), AND I AM CANADIAN!

    Thank you.

    Well John Fay actually argued that Phillips has similar power as Utley....

    Phillips has mastered the okie dokie play at 3rd base.

    If Wright drills Phillips in the back would Phillips have been out there?

    Did they really not give the Mets an error on that play?
    Gameday says that Phillips stole home instead of an error.
