It sounds like its going to be played, even if its not until tonight. Sounds to me like a good spot for a nap.

Dusty Baker is an intelligent man. He speaks fluently on any number of subjects. It is simply unfortunate that baseball is not among that number.

I'm going to guess that if you hear him talk enough about those subjects your opinion would change on that aswell

Heisey hit a routine grounder to 3rd on the first pitch. ESPN was interviewing Drabek during the AB and Heisey was barely mentioned or even shown.

Gotta love ESPN's fair and balanced coverage.

Yeah I was kind of torn between wanting to hear what they had to say about Heisey and wanting to see more of Erin Andrews. No way to lose really.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Sutcliffe said he was very impressed with Heisey during batting practice. Gammons said Heisey has a lot of tools and says the Reds are building a nice foundation.

Yeah, Sutcliffe (who I don't much care for, BTW) said he was impressive in batting practice, hitting line drives up the middle and the other way. Gammons said he's got a lot of tools and will definitely be up in the Majors, probably around this time next year. Thorne raved about the excellent numbers he's putting up this year.

    He Ks though
The pitcher dropped a pretty hard slider on him after consecutive 96 mph fastballs. It was pretty apparent Heisey was looking for the heat and was fooled on the swinging strikeout.

He might now that the World Team is losing. I wouldn't bring him in if I were winning, but on the short end of things I would consider it.
