How good of a defensive centerfielder must Austin Jackson be if they are switching Drew Stubbs to right?

Prob not that good. It's just that he's a Yankee, so they get their way, right?

Probably just 2 CFs that got voted to ASG and they moved one- I think I remember a MLB ASG a couple years ago where Beltran started in a COF spot.

Jackson might not ever play RF for the yankees minor league squad either.

Just getting Stubbs some time in RF in preparation for his callup to the Reds.

If you remember the Arizona Fall League, Stubbs and Jackson were on the same team and Jackson was the main CF. I wouldn't consider it a slight to Stubbs. They are both outstanding centerfielders.

BTW, Andy Marte should be starting at 3B instead of Mike Cervenak. Not sure how that happened.

I think they did the same thing in AA and other AS games, he always ends up getting moved to RF or LF.

Not commenting on the merits of his selection, but just wanted to point out that Cervenak is a great guy. Sat with him at a function back when he was at Michigan several years back. Hell, Bobby Scales finally made it to the Show this year, hopefully his infield-mate from the college days can make it now too. I'll be rooting for him.

GCL box score is being updated today. Twins are up 3-1.

Yorman with a sac fly to score another Rodriguez. Duran K'd looking.

Over .300 would certainly be a welcome suprise from Stormin' Yorman. Like the patience, too. Power will come. Hopefully. That lack of power is why I think he'll go to Billings next year. Still at least two years ahead of the normal prospect timeline though and on track (assuming he develops power and continues to progress) to see the bigs at 21.

Austin Jackson is pretty darn good in CF. I think it may be more of a Stubbs has experience in other spots. AJax only have about 20 games outside of CF in his career.

Did we ever get confirmation that Hamilton is indeed hurt?
