The X-Files post David Duchovny comes immediately to mind.

And, FWIW, I really liked the last two seasons of "The West Wing" -- they fumbled around in the dark for the better part of 2 years when Aaron Sorkin and Rob Lowe left, but I think the campaign episodes really gave the show a second lease on life.

Sesame Street. I mean, come on, there are only 26 letters and ten numbers. After that, then what? Oh yeah, and when Captain Windy changed her name to Captain Wendy, I could no longer watch the Uncle Al Show. It just wasn't the same any longer.

The Drew Carey Show. Loved the show at first, but it became too gimmick filled.
Family Guy. Bringing it back was the worst thing that happened to the show. Seth spread himself too thin when he bought the terrible American Dad to the screen. I shudder to think of how bad The Cleveland Show will be.
MASH. Stopped being good when Klinger stopped wearing dresses.
Monty Python's Flying Circus. When Cleese left the show, they should have stopped.

ER - I can't believe that show just went off this past season. It was on forever.

The Simpsons - It has been on forever.

The Drew Carry Show - Loved it but quite watching it

The OC - Still watched, but when Marissa left the show they were stretching for story lines.

Saved by the Bell - The New Class, really?
