Fearless Predictions for the month of July

    1. Neftali Soto, Chris Valaika, and Danny Dorn will all OPS > .800
    2. Travis Wood will be promoted to Louisville by the end of the month and will have a rough first few outings.
    3. Chris Heisey and Drew Stubbs will have very similar performances in Louiville, neither one setting the world on fire
    4. Zack Stewart will continue to be lights out in the Louisville bullpen
    5. Slingin' Billy Hamilton will continue to rake in the GCL
    6. Devin Mesoraco has his best month as a pro, and OPS > .750
    7. Todd Frazier finally gets promoted to Louisville and plays 3B everyday
    8. The Reds fail to make a real splash during the International Signing period.
    9. Brad Boxberger signs and reports to Billings
    10. Top picks Yonder Alonso and Mike Leake don't play in a single game

I predict Kevin Barker, who over his last 10 games is hitting .343/.543/.914...

    will cool off.

I also predict Adam Rosales AVG will drop below .400 for the Bats

I know. I saw that with Barker, and then I tried figuring out a scenario where he could be promoted to the big league club while he was hot, and I couldn't come up with one.

Barker from July 5 through last night's game:

    .425/.550/.675

Well, I was right about Rosales.

I don't care what Mesoraco hits, just as long as he's learning how to catch. Any Offense at this point of his career is a bonus.
