If none of the starters are traded we know who won't be in the rotation once Volquez gets back.

Grande is a Reds announcer? I thought he was a plant by the Cardinals ....the greatest team in the history of baseball in the midwest.

What an awesome inning from the heart of our order there. Good grief.

Yeah, the offense is done scoring for the night.

    Goodnight.

Schmidt looking like a world beater against the Reds the last 2 innings.

I remember a game in LA... Eddie Milner lead off with a triple and then scored on a groundout. Only hit off Jerry Reuss for the game... a 12-1 loss.

It was a typical 1982 game.

Micah Owings isn't an answer for this team, unless the question is "Who should be replaced in the starting rotation?"

A rare 3-run lead for a Reds starter flipped into a 3-run deficit before the 3rd inning?

    Painful. And increasingly bad trade.

36,15,5 Schmidt's pitch count per inning. He might get that down to 3 next inning.

Good thing for Juan Castro in this line up.

    Chris Welsh:

"One of the weaknesses of Micah Owings's game is his control."

I would also like to add velocity and movement to that.

Other than those three things, he's Johan Santana.
