He'll be the long man from the bullpen.
He'll have plenty of chances to eat innings.
the Reds have a seemingly endless supply of crap
Wells was supposed to start in Louisville tonight.
I'm guessing Maloney will start on short rest.
Kip Wells is the very definition of "journeyman pitcher". The guy has had two good years- as a starter in 2002 and 2003 with Pittsburgh. Every other year he has been below average.

All's Wells that ends Wells.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
I'd laugh if I didn't wasn't so worried that he's our number three starter next year if Harang and Arroyo are successfully dealt.
For the first time since being with the Reds in 2009, Kip Wells is up in the Majors. He started for the Padres on Tuesday and picked up the loss. It looks like he'll pitch against the Rockies on Sunday. He has just been dreadful since 2005, so I wonder what it is that teams see in him. His numbers in AAA this year were probably even worse than you'd expect.
