    Mark Serrano pitched another good game for Dayton: 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 K. Fellhauer is 1-for-3 with a HR (#5), a HBP, and 2 RBI.

Ken Griffey Sr. on Josh Fellhauer:

“I think our (minor-league) system’s pretty strong,” Griffey said. “I think our younger pitchers are going to be pretty strong.”

The Dragons ended up losing in the ninth 5-4, though newly acquired center fielder Josh Fellhauer caught Griffey’s eye. Fellhauer went 2-for-5 on the night and his two-run RBI triple in the sixth was an offensive highlight.

“He reminds me a little of Chase — he has a swing like Utley’s,” Griffey said. “I watched Chase from AA until he got to the big leagues.”

“I’ll take that,” Fellhauer said with a laugh. “(Utley) stays inside on the ball and sends it to all fields.”

Nice little blurb. Hopefully he can do as well as I think he can. I like Fellhauer a lot.

Stubbs on after an error but sounded like Stubbs speed might have caused it a little just by making the infielder rush.

Fielder had problems transferring the ball from the glove to his hand. Just a quick bobble, but with Stubbs speed its all he needed.
