The mighty REDS against Tim Lincecum. He is human, right? I believe.

Lincecum vs. Taveras isn't even fair.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

2-0 Giants off a Molina homerun.

    Chris Welsh is not impressed.

I'm getting the feeling it could be a while before the Reds get a hit. If at all.

Real impressed with Wlad's plate discipline since he's gotten a chance to play. Gomes, however, is a giant hack. Fits in well on this team and should be locked up long term.

I'm calling no hitter. 6 outs, 21 to go.
