I am pretty excited. If that power stays hes going to be a big time prospect.

Francisco with two more hits and a walk tonight in the Carolina win.

Guy is absolutely on fire, just like last year in the Winter League.

Heisey continues his slide. Saw him in person the last couple of nights and he looked lost at the plate. Could be both Stubbs and Heisey are pressing looking for a shot at the bigs.

Sarasota's in the 13th inning. The Reds tied it with two outs in the top of the 9th on a 3-run homer by Neftali Soto.

Juan Francisco's line, for the season: 284/323/518 841 OPS

Josh Felhauer's: 304/400/543 943 OPS (156 ABs). Interesting he's playing DHing and playing all three OF spots, rather than sticking in center. Oliveras is playing a lot out there. Speaking of which:

Alexis Oliveras, 20-year-old CF/OF from the Dominican, has played well in a short stint in Dayton as well, hitting over 340 with good power in 120-ish ABs.

Carlos Mendez, 23 years-old and a 3B, is over 300, but has no power (400 or so slg %) and a 750 OPS. If he can find some power, his BB rate is almost acceptable and he doesn't K much at all either. Interesting bat, at least.

Cody Puckett has some pop (16 HR), some speed (13/14 SB), and an 824 OPS while playing 2B, but he's 22 and there are some questions about his glove.

    Oliveras is Puerto Rican.

Wow, no kidding. He even has the OBP up to .320, which is impressive for him. Something clicked when June started because he's been a different batter since then.

    June through yesterday: 39 K's in 209 AB's with 13 BB
    April and May: 50 K's in 208 AB's with 7 BB

Those aren't dramatic differences yet, but it shows improvement in pitch selection which is what everyone has always wanted from him.

Nice look at the numbers. I'd say it does show a dramatic difference -- 3:1 K/BB vs. 7:1 K/BB. I don't think Francisco can be dismissed as a legit prospect any more, based on these numbers.
