Good jump by Taveras on that line drive to lead off the Giants seventh.

Jeff Brantley is maddening. Overall I've found him okay, but over the last few weeks, I can't tell you how many times his initial call of a play sounds like the opposite just happened. The play to start this inning was something like this (with excitement in his voice): "It's hit into center field. And Willy Taveras has it, one out." I guess he can only process one action at a time, but as a listener, you're initial reaction is that it was a hit. Argh.

Garko draws the walk, laying off a nice breaking ball by Harang.

Harang with his 7th K of the day, gets Lewis. End of the inning as Edgar grounds out.

Dusty should get Massett out there for the eighth. With Weathers gone Massett needs to get used to pitching the eighth inning of potentially winning games.

He probably will just keep Harang out there, which is reasonable.

I couldn't tell from Brantley's call whether Wlad scored on that wild pitch earlier, either.

How awesome would it be for Harang to get a grand slam here?

Agreed, but Dusty wouldn't 'insult' Gonzalez like that. Sad, but true. It's obvious that AGon is gone after this year, so it's frustrating that we won't see that.

Seen enough of him to know he isn't an everyday player. 2 hits today does zero to change that
