Since Tavares is still technically (I believe) still in his 6 years can we non-tender him and save the 4 mil . Yes I know I am dreaming.

Has anyone seen Freddie Garcia pitch on rehab with the White Sox? Was wandering if he's refound the stuff to make him a good pitcher or if age has zapped it all.

2nd Base (just for fun assume we move Phillips to SS). Think Placido Polanco would think about coming here? Im going to avoid the pink elephant in the list.

If not Polanco (and we dont want to go with one of the kids cause they arent "ready") and want more power theres DeRosa.

I figured as much, still just wanted to try and get some stuff going about the offseason as its getting to the point where its highly unlikely the Reds will make any more major moves this month (I dont believe anyone will bite for Harang, Arroyo, or Cordero).

There is absolutely no sense in looking at the 2010 FA list at this point. Just file it away somewhere and pull it back out in mid-January when it has been thoroughly picked over. Whatever is left you can salivate over.
