That catch by Janish HAS to be a web gem! Wow.
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Be a nice time for Willy T to use his speed.
If you have a losing record at Reds games, please stop going.

Send Barker to the plate for Tatum. If they bring in the lefty to face Barker, then use Balentien or Hanigan to PH for him.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

Cowboy said in the first inning (when Taveras didn't run until there were two outs), that if it takes you 17 pitches to read a pitcher's move, then you aren't much of a basestealer. He also said that if Taveras isn't going to run, then there isn't any reason why he shouldn't bat eighth when he's in the lineup. George quietly agreed.

Votto seems to strike out a bunch lately, many looking.

Marty B was just commenting on his strikeouts. Maybe Joey needs a break.

Harang is done after seven innings. Once again, no run support. This was a quality start, going 7 innings and only giving up two runs.

Sad...why can't they score for Aaron, especially since they faced Garrett Mock, who came into the game with a 6+ ERA?

I've been thinking that Joey could use a day or two off. It's just so difficult when he's one of only three or four legitimate major-league hitters in the lineup.

I was thinking he was the only one. What do we do if we don't have Joey to watch.
