Remember when we were upset because Charlie Manuel screwed Cueto over for the All-Star team? Johnny's been in the crapper ever since.

Let me lay this out or all of you non baseball people.

The 0-1 pitch is a slider down, that Gonzalez hits hard down the 3rd baseline, just foul.

Now you have the #8 batter at 0-2. What pitch should you throw? Any non baseball mind would certainly say a 94 mPh heater up and in might be appropriate?

Nah, let's throw the EXACT SAME PITCH. Surprise! Gonzalez has it better timed and rips it fair for a 3 run double.

The new Reds motto needs to be "None of us is as dumb as all of us"

It may be time to shut Cueto down. He has been getting pounded for months now.

    Re: 8/15/09 Reds vs Nats

Even in 1982....1989...and 1993....when the team had terrible hitters (on purpose or via injury) they still managed to score an occasional 8...even implode with 12+ runs (Like the 1989 game vs HOU) ... this team can barely crack 4...and an implosion is maybe 7?

Cueto just seems to cool for school and I know he may be tired from all the off season stuff.....but he just seems like Andujar light.

Either that, or ease him into the bullpen for the rest of the season.

Kip Wells lines one hard into LF for a single!

Anybody see that shot of incredulous Dusty?

Votto is my favorite player on this team, but that baserunning mistake is unacceptable.

Just can't keep making these mistakes and expect to be a good team.

Cant you just call it a good play George and move on? Do we need a rambling ode to Belliard or any other opposing player about what a great "hustler" and "team guy" and whatever other cliche you keep throwing out there?

Did Brantley just use the phrase, "lift and separate"?

Elk and Elk Storyline of the game - Kip Wells facing the team that released him.

    Just kidding, nobody cares.

This Reds team has the worst lack of focus of any Reds team I can remember. And I do blame the manager/coaching staff.
    Where we gonna go?

His 2 starts previous to that netted 10.2 innings, 10 runs, and 18 baserunners
